DEUS EX: MANKIND DIVIDED

On Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Goldtooth was involved from the beginning of the creative process, writing the perfect trailer to reveal the state of the world, the villains, and the highly anticipated return of the game’s lead character Adam Jensen.

Set in the year 2030, the cyber renaissance golden age is over, the world is in turmoil and the augmented suffer from oppression in the mechanical apartheid. Goldtooth provided the creative direction, storyboards, script, creative editorial, and project bibles for Eidos Montreal and Visual Works’ production team.  Goldtooth also worked extensively in the design and production of the Mankind Divided animated logo, featuring a macro photography view of the mechanical titan shield organically generating.

Breaking new ground in video game marketing Goldtooth wrote, produced and directed the recent Twitch campaign for Eidos Montreal’s Deus Ex: Mankind Divided reveal. The task: Create a 48 hour live action interactive experience streamed through Twitch.  Within the first 30 minutes of streaming, the channel attracted over 20,000 viewers, and over the course of the ‘experience’, the #Cantkillprogress channel garnered more than 1.7 million views from more than 1 million unique users, and acquired more Twitch followers in 48 hours than any other “AAA competitors” had managed in the lifetime of their channels.  Creating an experience that has never been done before was a huge success, establishing world wide buzz for the games announcement, trailer, logo and title reveal!
